Yoga means "union" of the body and the mind.  When we practice yoga, we are connecting our minds to our bodies with movement and stillness.  Through regular practice, we learn to "breathe in the good stuff and release the bad stuff." The benefits of yoga include (but are not limited to) stronger and more flexible muscles, stronger bones, lower resting heart rate, lower blood pressure, better body composition, better sleep at night, more focus during the day, and less pain in the body caused by the lifestyle of sitting for long periods that we all experience.  Yoga is available to any body type and any level of experience.  Yoga meets you where you are and supports you as you grow and thrive.

About Me...

I am a certified 200RYT yoga teacher and wellness coach that specializes in balancing effort and ease through the use of movement.  I have taught yoga since 2012 and before that, I taught dance, stretching, and functional movement for stage performance.  In my previous career, I assisted chiropractors and doctors for over 10 years as they treated patients, much of that time applying treatments and modalities myself.  This gives me a unique toolbox of training methods and therapeutic knowledge that extends into my classes and personal yoga sessions.  Helping people find balance in their lives so that they can improve their wellbeing is my passion and I'm looking forward to practicing with you.
