ABOUT HEATHER TILL
Heather Till is a Certified Professional Yoga Therapist, Play Facilitator, Gentle Somatic Yoga Practitioner (Level 1) and dancer who has been studying movement awareness (dance, yoga, Pilates) for over 20 years. She received her yoga therapy training from the School of Integrative Yoga Therapy where she was introduced to the magic and mystery of somatic yoga (the integration of gentle yoga practices, moving from an inner awareness, unravelling chronic tension and pain patterns, and reconnecting with our body’s natural rhythms and ability for health and resilience) and the fascinating world of neuroscience (which she loves to geek out on!), awakening the deep wonders of the human body and it’s potential. These types of slow yoga practices invite a deep nourishment of the nervous system in an increasingly more chaotic world that pulls us off center and into stress related illness and dis-ease. Through these movement explorations, we are better able to access the deeper wisdom, creativity, vitality, joy and well being that is waiting for us. Heather’s playful personality infuses her teaching. She loves working with people of all ages and abilities to discover “what’s possible”, and has a special affinity for working with women to help them create self-care practices and find greater life balance, health and joy. Her teaching embodies mindfulness, a sense of curiosity, gentle, restorative, and somatic yoga.
